I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, working with Prof. Markus Reiß.
I received my PhD in Mathematics from Heidelberg University in July 2026 under the supervision of Prof. Jan Johannes. During my doctoral studies, I was a member of the STRUCTURES Cluster of Excellence and undertook research visits at the University of Cambridge. My dissertation investigated both frequentist and Bayesian methods for statistical inverse problems.
Before my doctoral studies, I completed my BSc and MSc in Mathematics at Heidelberg University and spent an exchange semester at the University of Copenhagen.
My research interests lie at the intersection of nonparametric statistics, statistical inverse problems, and uncertainty quantification. In particular, I am interested in (misspecified) frequentist and Bayesian methods for inverse problems arising from differential equations, multiplicative deconvolution models, and the statistical analysis of nonlinear forward models.
